Pastor - Rev. Roger L. Van Fleet
Brother Roger has been pastor of SSBC for seven years (1997-2000 & 2003 to present). He and his wife, Merideth, have been married since 1994 and God has blessed them with two beautiful children, Roger William and Victoria Deliane. Brother Roger is a Master of Divinity student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminiary and works full time as webmaster and director of information technologies at WDRB FOX 41. Brother Roger's favorite verse is Isaiah 43:1,2.

 

Associate Pastor - Justin L. Guffey

Brother Justin has been at SSBC since August 2004 and was ordained into the ministry in September of 2006. At the beginning of 2007 Justin was added to SSBC staff to serve as our associate pastor. He and his wife, Kara, have been married since 2004 and are expecting their first baby girl, Kyla Jane. Justin is a Master of Divinity student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and works full time at Cellular Express. Brother Justin's favorite verse is 1 Thessalonians 2:4.

 

Worship Leader - Matt Bennett

Brother Matt has been serving as our worship leader since October of 2005. He and his wife, Debbie, have been married since 1997. Brother Matt's favorite verse is Phillipians 2:3,4.

 

Worship Leader - Scott Lee

Brother Scott is our newest team member. He has been with SSBC since February of 2007, and is our acting worship leader as Brother Matt is on leave. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married since 2002. He will graduate this May with a Master of Arts in Worship from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brother Scott work as a physical therapist and his favorite verse is Titus 3:5.

 

Director of Educational Ministeries - Todd Young

Brother Todd has been at SSBC since March 2004. He and his wife, Heather, have been married since 1995 and the Lord has blessed them with two beautiful children Brandon Todd and Rebekah Brooke. Todd is a Master of Divinity student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and works full time as a Solution Architect at Baptist Healthcare Systems. Brother Todd's favorite verse is Romans 8:28.

 

Director of Youth Ministries - Wes King

Brother Wes has been ministering to our youth since May of 2006. He and his wife, Mary, have been married since 2004. Brother Wes is a Master of Divinity student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and works at Circuit City. Brother Wes' favorite verse is 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.
